You will be responsible for style and lay-out of the sites our client builds with their proprietary content management and community systems. One part of your job is to develop a visual style for the project; the other is implementing the style in cooperation with the programmers.
Our client will soon use its community and online media expertise in an exciting, large scale project for over 160 artists of the world’s largest record label. You will work from their office in Hilversum (NL) but may get the opportunity to support the team in San Jose, California (US) for periods of several weeks.
Required Skills
Hands-on experience, please provide examples of your projects
Extensive knowledge of PHP 4 / 5
Extensive knowledge of MySQL
Experience with OOP
Extensive knowledge of Linux (ability to install and configure from command-line)
Basic knowledge of XHTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript and DOM
Proper English reading, writing and speaking is a must
Extra Credit
Experience with version control (CSV, SVN)
Experience with a high-level programming language (i.e. C++, Java)
Experience with Flash AS 2.0 and Flash Remoting
Experience with SOAP
Affinity with design and usability 1
